Who I am…(David Kidd)
My motivation to become a transformational coach stems from my journey as a leader in the IT sector and my personal experiences with neurodiversity and burnout. With over 25 years in leadership roles, I intimately understand the challenges senior leaders face—maintaining authenticity, navigating high-pressure environments, and grappling with neurodiverse realities. My turning point was recognizing how misaligned values led to personal and professional discontent, inspiring my commitment to guide others toward rediscovering purpose and thriving.
My coaching philosophy centers on transformation. I partner with clients to uncover their authentic selves, address challenges holistically, and build resilience. Grounded in narrative coaching, growth mindset principles, and experiential learning, I help clients examine limiting beliefs, embrace challenges as growth opportunities, and adopt sustainable new behaviors. My background in education enables me to adapt to diverse learning styles, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness.
Personal experiences with ADHD and autism enrich my practice, particularly when working with neurodiverse leaders. Incorporating AI assistants enhances self-reflection and exploration, offering tailored insights and practical exercises.
Committed to the EMCC Global Code of Ethics, I prioritize confidentiality, respect, and inclusivity, creating a safe space for meaningful growth. My goal is to empower leaders to navigate challenges with clarity and transform their professional and personal lives.
